** Who are we:
** The Cath lab is an ACC-accredited Chest Pain center and ACE-accredited PCI Center. As a 24/7 STEMI program the Cath Lab offers state of the art procedures such as TAVRs, Mitral Clips, Watchman/Amulet, PFO Closures, and is a high-volume PCI center. There are 6 Cath procedure rooms, located in the newly built Crystal Springs Tower. The Crystal Springs Tower is a 400,000-square-foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital – the home of our Cardiovascular Institute and an expanded Emergency Department.

* What we do:

** Some of the complex therapies/treatments performed include:
· Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring (SWAN pulmonary artery pressure monitoring, continuous trans venous pacing (TVP)
· Equipment includes:
Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), IMPELLA ventricular assist device, Shockwave, Rotablator and CSI
· Procedures:
Diagnostic, Interventional and Complex/High Risk PCI, Structural (TAVR, TMVR, PFO/ASD, Paravalvular Leak, LAA Closure), Cardiomems, LVAD/ Advanced Heart Failure, Diagnostic and Interventional Peripheral Procedures
· Structural Research Clinical Trails: BASELINE Trail, ENCIRCLE trial, Cerclage EFS, CLASP II Tricuspid Regurgitation trail, PARADIGM trail, ASAP II trail, CONFORM Pivotal Trail
· Coronary Artery Disease Clinical Trails: ARTISAN Study, SAFE STEMI Study, Protect IV Trail, WARRIOR Trail#crystalspringtower #cvi#
** What We Require:

* Education:

** Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

* Experience:

** Critical care experience preferred.

** Licensure, certification, and/or registration:
** Must have valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Virginia.
** Life Support:
** Must have and maintain current AHA BLS-HCP certification. Must successfully complete AHAACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status.
** Other

Minimum Qualifications:

** Effective interpersonal, communication, and team working skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position. Successful completion of cardiac monitoring course required.
