We are currently seeking a RN for Sheila S. Strauss Hospice Inpatient Unit.
The Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the patient's physical, psychological, and mental needs and providing nursing services aimed at improving the quality of life for both the patient and their family.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited educational institution
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, med/surg, PCU, or geriatric nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Additional Skills – excellent communication, decision‑making and critical thinking skills, excellent computer skills (EMR), complies with accepted professional standards of practice, and a working knowledge and commitment to hospice philosophy.
