Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring night shifts, EPIC experience, and an active VA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting in a hospital environment
- Night shifts: 3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15
- Assignment length is flexible, ranging from 14 to 52 weeks, with 52 weeks standard
- Nurse-to-patient ratios are currently 1:5 with a goal of 1:4
- Unit placement is determined by facility need after clinical evaluation
- Floating within acuity is required for all travelers
- EPIC EMR experience is required
- Duties include providing telemetry monitoring and progressive care nursing
- Assignment start date is flexible
- Travelers may request assignment lengths between 14 and 52 weeks
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
