Position: RN
- Whole House Resource Pool RN ICU/PCU/MS Float MUST be comfortable working ALL ICU PCU and MS units. comfortable working all 3 specialties and has worked with ratios of at least 1:5.
SCHEDULING DETAILS
• Contract Length/Shift Details: 3x12s 645p-715a 4x12s available by request 13-52 weeks available by request
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Floating:
Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift up to every 4 hours
• Weekend Requirement:
May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Holiday Requirement:
Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Accept First-Time Travelers:

Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria
• Pending License Accepted:
Yes only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license
• RTO Block Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission
• Call Off Policy:
Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
• ACLS BLS NIHSS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
• Experienced in IV therapy phlebotomy Arterial line management central line care/management and blood product administration
• Skilled in management of BiPAP/CPAP care of ventilated patient suctioning ETT NT
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring dysrhythmia interpretation and management titrating cardiac drips and responding to emergencies via Rapid Response/Code teams
• Capable of managing continuous IV sedation emergency medication titrating cardiac/vasoactive gtts IV insulin protocols
• Background includes: 2 years of ICU experience from a large L1/L2 facility
UNIT DETAILS
• ICU average ratio: 2: 1 PCU average ratio: 5:1 MS average ratio: 6:1 May flex up to 7:1
