This mid-sized hospital maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support on-site inpatient neurology coverage. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians delivering day shift neurological care to the inpatient population. All services are provided on-site throughout the coverage period.

Virginia offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The region features opportunities for kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and birding across natural habitats, along with scenic drives and accessible hiking trails. Community events such as craft shows and seasonal festivals are available throughout the area, providing year-round options for clinicians on assignment.

The neurology nurse practitioner will provide inpatient coverage during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Clinical responsibilities encompass bread and butter neurology cases in an on-site inpatient setting. No call responsibilities are associated with this locum tenens assignment.
