** How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:
** The RN Practice provides professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, supporting patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

This position is full time, working Monday-Friday 8a-5p    
** This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus when successful candidate meets applicable guidelines.
** The position does require occasional travel to other clinics for staffing needs.
The RN Practice
* Supports Carilion Clinic’s hallmarks of service excellence and quality in all job responsibilities.
* Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.
* Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Completes and documents age-specific assessments to support development of care plans.
* Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
* Administers treatments and medications accurately and documents care in electronic medical records.
* Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs.
* Participates in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
* Advocates for patients and supports their rights and psychosocial needs.
* Applies knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
* Demonstrates clinical competence in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
* Supports efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
* Manages resources, prioritizes tasks, and adapts to changing patient care needs.
* Supports orientation and training of new employees.
* Uses problem-solving skills to address patient care and operational challenges.
* Provides feedback and participates in shared decision-making activities.
* Supports education activities within the department.
* Maintains confidentiality and complies with regulatory and organizational standards.#
** What We Require:

* Education:

** Graduate of a school of professional nursing required.

* Experience:

** None.
** Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
** Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
** Life Support:
** AHA BLS-HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.

Minimum Qualifications:

** Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records.
** Career Advancement Program:
** RNs are eligible to participate in the Career Advancement Program (CAP) to attain various levels of advancement based on performance criteria.

** Compensation Range:**$27.70 - $41.55
* Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
