The Sales Executive (“SE”) is responsible for managing the entire sales process, from identifying and initiating new sales opportunities to negotiating and closing contracts. The position will be remote based in the United States and may require 40% travel.
This role requires developing and executing strategies to drive client growth and retention while building strong relationships with financial institutions. The SE will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and that Klari Vis’ solutions deliver maximum value.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and nurturing client relationships and possess the market knowledge to identify, strategize, and close opportunities within the financial services industry.
Klari Vis is headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia.
Applicants must be currently based and authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Klari Vis does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the financial services sector.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Research and analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive offerings to position Klari Vis effectively.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers and executives at financial institutions.
- Gain a deep understanding of each prospect’s organization, priorities, and challenges to align Klari Vis’ solutions effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Initiate contact with potential clients through calls, emails, and networking.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value of Klari Vis solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage sales collateral and campaigns.
- Develop and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
- Partner with internal teams, including Client Success, Implementation, and Product Development, to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, providing regular updates on sales activities and pipeline status.
- Report sales performance and forecasts to the VP of Sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or financial services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of financial institutions, including banking operations, data analytics, and technology trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, Sales Loft, GONG) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to engage with senior-level decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
- Skilled in navigating complex sales cycles and overcoming objections.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while taking ownership of individual results.
