As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a utility location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
