Learn more:  As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations.

This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report observed maintenance concerns, utility-related irregularities, policy violations, and other unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
