Fire Alarm Technician

Job Description: Performs preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, and programming of fire alarm systems.

Effectively communicate the status and operation of the fire alarm systems to the team.

Work both in a team environment or on your own with minimal supervision.

Must have a desire to learn, succeed, set goals, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

Capable of performing other duties as required.

A strong background and knowledge of commercial/industrial fire alarm. Willing to train the right applicant.

Experience with Fike, Potter, and other system manufacturers is a plus.

Good communication skills and strong computer skills.

Valid driver’s license and can pass the background requirements.

The ideal candidate will have programming experience.

• Wages range from $16 – $35 an hour, depending on experience and education

The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

May work with or around typical construction materials and chemicals requiring safety data sheet knowledge.
