• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Java frameworks like Spring Boot or Micronaut.
• Lead migration and new application development of Java-based solutions, with a focus on async programming and high-throughput systems.
• Build and support microservices architecture aligned with microservices best practices.
• Create and optimize relational database models and data pipelines using PostgreSQL.
• Implement robust RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
• Apply your cloud expertise by deploying, scaling, and supporting solutions on AWS.
• Support key data and analytics initiatives, including data integration and Snowflake-related projects.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, providing technical guidance and engaging in design discussions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3–5 years in technical leadership.
• Proven expertise in Java development, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience with data modeling and engineering skills.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud environment.
• Recent experience working with Kafka and async programming in Java.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and service integration.
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, mocking, BDD).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting.

• Familiarity with Generative AI tools like Git Hub Copilot.
• Experience with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Background in financial services industry.
