Job Description & How to Apply Below

TRG Manufacturing Search Division is conducting a search for an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join an established industry leader. This growing company offers a supportive culture where your ideas matter and the opportunity to develop innovative electronic products for demanding industrial applications.

You’ll develop bare-metal firmware for microcontroller-based industrial products, turning ideas into reliable functionality through hands-on coding, testing, and troubleshooting. You’ll support new product development and improve the performance and reliability of existing products.

You’ll have room to stretch your creativity, explore new approaches, and help make products smarter and more reliable. Your work will improve performance, reduce maintenance costs, and support new product capabilities. You’ll also explore AI-enabled tools to improve development, testing, and data analysis.

We’re looking for someone with 8+ years of hands-on embedded firmware experience and strong C programming skills. If you enjoy working close to the hardware, solving practical engineering challenges, and seeing your code drive real-world products, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact.

Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field; master’s preferred.
  • 8+ years of embedded firmware development experience, including strong C programming and bare-metal microcontroller development.
  • Experience with Microchip dsPIC, STM
32, NXP, Renesas, TI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of interrupts, timers, analog/digital interfaces, and time-critical processing.
  • Experience with embedded communication protocols, source control, and firmware testing; automated testing and scripting skills are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project ownership skills; PCB design and embedded cybersecurity experience are desirable.
