Safety Engineer

We are looking for a mid-level Safety Engineer who thrives on solving hard problems with Cypress and RabbitMQ. This mid-level role pairs a $73,000 - $110,000 salary with hands-on ownership, a collaborative team, and clear opportunities to level up.

• Track and report on key performance metrics for technology services
• Prototype proof-of-concept solutions for emerging technology requirements
• Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
• Build the deadline-driven MongoDB feature that wins back the VA accounts Med Advantage Group lost
• Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools

• Demonstrated capacity to mentor or support mid-level teammates
• Experience translating RabbitMQ complexity for a non-technical audience
• Demonstrated calm when a Roanoke, VA client changes scope mid-stream
• Curiosity that outpaces your current job description
• An appetite for ownership that scales with the stakes

Med Advantage Group took everything frustrating about technology and rebuilt it from scratch in Roanoke, VA, with forever-learning attention to PHP. Autonomy here comes with a partner: ask for help the moment you're stuck on Attention to Detail.

We offer $73,000 - $110,000, performance bonuses, comprehensive insurance, and the freedom to shape how and where you work.
