Ice and snow removal. The major responsibilities will include proper and safe use of hand shovels, power broom, small tractors and pickup trucks to remove snow and ice.

• Must meet and maintain TSA security requirements for unescorted access into the Airport's secured area and other Airport Operations Areas
• Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug test
• Must have a valid Virginia Driver's License
• Have and maintain driving record acceptable to Roanoke Regional Airport Commission and its insurance carrier(s)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to have a flexible schedule
• Willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Be extremely reliable
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays as needed
• Must have ability to fully comprehend instructions from on the job training and manuals
• Must have the ability to quickly demonstrate practical skills and knowledge from on the job training
• Must be available "on-call"
• CDL preferred but not required
