1st Shift Part Time Warehouse Material Handler

Join the 1st Shift Part Time Warehouse Material Handler role at Coca-Cola Consolidated. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking product as specified on pick tickets. You will travel throughout the warehouse, build stable pallets, and meet or exceed safety, accuracy, and efficiency expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and place cases onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the pick ticket, ensuring safety and stable pallet build.
  • Transport pallets using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) – Pallet Jack – to different warehouse areas safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as needed.
  • Perform daily PIT checklist and report any issues.
  • Correct any mistakes identified during checks regarding product or quantity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support efficient warehouse operations in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and lifting up to 30 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Collaborate within a team environment.
  • Coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes.
  • Adapt to changing role needs throughout the workday.
  • Read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
  • Pay attention to detail and differentiate packages.
  • Work in a noisy, non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
  • Initiate value‑add opportunities proactively.
  • Flexible with schedules and hours.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Up to 12 months of work experience in a relevant role.
  • PIT (Pallet Jack) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Up to 12 months of relevant work experience.
  • PIT (Pallet Jack) certification.
Work Environment
  • Noisy and non‑temperature‑controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter).
