Emergency Physician Professional Association (EPPA) is a leading provider of emergency medical services committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need in the state of Minnesota. We are currently accepting applications for our 2026 cohort.
Who We Are
Since our inception in 1969, we have paired our expertise in emergency medicine with a strong culture focused on the success of our clinicians. We are a democratically governed, independent physician group, with an ownership opportunity within two years of joining. EPPA is currently staffing 7 Twin Cities metro hospitals, 1 central MN hospital, 5 regional/rural sites, and 3 Urgency Rooms (free-standing acute care clinics – owned and operated by EPPA).
Patient volumes across all sites range from 9K-75K per year.
We are a collegial team and partner closely with colleagues across medicine in a multi-disciplinary team setting. We have long-term, stable partnerships with our health systems and the consulting physicians across our practices. Must Haves From You
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, required
- Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Emergency Medicine
- Current State of Minnesota MD or DO license and DEA, required
- Successful candidates must submit to TB testing and any vaccinations recommended by OSHA Guidelines
Zone Details
This position will report to our North Memorial Zone. We stagger what sites you cover depending on your tenure start everyone at our larger hospitals and then expand to regional and Urgency Room coverage as new hires feel comfortable. You do not work at all sites and will work with zone leadership on which sites you will cover. Physicians in this zone will have the opportunity to work at the following facilities:
- Located in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, North Memorial has provided year-round, round-the-clock inpatient and emergency room care for more than 60 years. North Memorial – Robbinsdale is a Level 1 Trauma Center and is a healthcare industry leader.
- Located in Maple Grove, Minnesota, North Memorial Health at Maple Grove Medical Center has more than just a world class hospital. With primary care, urgent care and a full range of specialties, you don’t have to travel far to get the healthcare that you need.
