- Experience: 1+ year of cardiac sonography experience.
- Certifications:
RDCS or RCS + BLS (AHA/ARC) – required. - Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Echocardiography program.
- Clinical
Skills:
2D/3D echo, M-mode, Doppler, tissue Doppler, strain imaging, bubble studies, contrast echo, stress echo, and structural heart imaging. - Additional
Skills:
IV insertion for contrast/bubble studies, EKG rhythms, and aseptic technique. - TEE: Must be able to assist with 2D/3D TEE procedures.
- EMR: Must be comfortable using electronic medical records.
- Flexibility: Must be willing to work at all HVI locations as needed.
