The facility is a 96‑bed specialty care community offering rehabilitation therapy for young adults and geriatric patients. The unit houses 16 residents, each with private rooms, wheelchair/lift‑accessible shower and toilet, dining area, and nurses station.

The Registered Nurse (RN) uses the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, and plans, implements, and evaluates care. The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegates tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, and ensures safe, reliable delivery of care. The RN practices within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, state regulations, ANA standards of practice, and the Code of Ethics.
Responsibilities- Perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform nursing interventions.
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating appropriate tasks and providing support to delegates.
- Maintain compliance with nursing practice scope, standards, and state regulations.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred;
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. - Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure acceptable if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required departmental competencies and certifications.
