Staff Accountant

Join our client, a leading CPA Firm in Robertsdale, AL, as a Staff Accountant/Auditor. This role is ideal for recent accounting graduates eager to pursue their CPA while gaining hands-on experience in audit and general accounting. Work alongside a team of dedicated CPAs, contributing to impactful financial projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Compensation: Salary range: $48-55k, depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with audit and general accounting tasks.
• Collaborating with CPAs and team members via Teams/Skype.
• Communicating with clients during onsite visits.
• Adapting to seasonal travel demands, primarily in February, November, and December.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a good GPA.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLookups and Pivot Tables.
• Successful completion of advanced audit classes.
• Flexibility for up to 50% travel during peak seasons.
