Senior Staff Scientist

Spectrum Environmental, Inc., an established firm spanning more than 30 years in business and with offices in Mobile, Alabama;
Birmingham, Alabama; and Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in our Robertsdale, Alabama office. The successful candidate should be a great communicator in all aspects and possess characteristics of a servant leader. Though we expect the chosen candidate to further define, develop, and lead in their role, we provide the following as a framework of what will be expected of this individual:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology or related environmental field
• 3+ years’ experience in the environmental field
• Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Soil and groundwater sampling
• Natural Resources (wetlands, threatened/endangered species, cultural resources)
• Construction/Industrial Stormwater Experience is a plus
• Staff training and development (Related to Assessment, Natural Resources and Stormwater)
• Task/Project management and coordination
