After School Program Mentor
We are seeking ministry-minded individuals to join our After School team. The After School Program Mentor’s primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. This is a non‑exempt, part‑time position averaging 17–20 hours per week.
Responsibilities• Foster youth development and provide a safe, supportive after‑school environment for elementary students.
• Lead enrichment activities and facilitate learning opportunities during the school calendar year (Monday‑Friday, 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.).
• Serve as a positive role model and minister of the Gospel, supporting our mission to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families.
Qualifications- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
- At least 17 years of age; high school diploma or GED preferred; post‑secondary training highly preferred.
- Passion for working with elementary school‑aged children; experience preferred.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., during the school calendar year.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
- Pass a mandatory background/sex‑offender check.
- Valid driver’s license or valid .
- Legally allowed to work in the United States.
- Dependable transportation.
- Spanish‑speaking ability is a great asset.
