Position: (USA) Production Clerk, Manufacturing

Position Summary… Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The state-of-the‑art facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim, and 1% Chocolate Milk for Walmart’s Great Value and Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark brands. This new facility represents Walmart’s commitment to building a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high‑quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.

What you’ll do… This role involves conducting daily, weekly, or monthly cycle counting in coordination with Finance stakeholders to ensure inventory accuracy. It also requires entering production information into the SAP system in compliance with company policies and procedures. The individual collaborates with leadership and plant associates to resolve DSI/ITetrapak errors effectively. As a backup scheduler, the role includes implementing production schedules that maintain adequate inventory levels, optimize production efficiencies, and meet customer fulfillment requirements.

Additionally, production plans are developed based on sales forecasts, and the individual participates in strategic planning meetings regarding downtime requests to balance operational needs and customer expectations. The role also emphasizes compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and adhering to these principles in business processes and practices.

Responsibilities further include completing work assignments and priorities by leveraging policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out assigned tasks, communicating progress and updates, and determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities. Lastly, the role involves adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback while ensuring continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
