(USA) Production Processing Operator - Dairy Plant Milk Truck Receiver (6:00am – 6:30pm, Friday - Sunday) – $23.80/hr.

Position Summary—Walmart is opening its third owned and operated milk processing facility in Robinson, Texas, scheduled to begin operations in 2026. The state‑of‑the‑art facility will process and bottle a variety of milk options including Gallon, Half Gallon, Whole, 2 %, 1 %, Skim, 1 % Chocolate Milk, and Cream for Walmart’s Great Value and Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark brands. This new facility represents Walmart’s commitment to a more resilient and transparent supply chain, sourcing high‑quality milk primarily from Texas dairy farmers to serve more than 750 Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and parts of Arkansas and Mississippi.

Base pay range: $22.00/hr – $24.00/hr

What you will do
  • Monitors dairy plant production processes for milk receiving, separation, standardization, pasteurization, batching by following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ensures all paperwork is accurate and verifies all charts—including frequency, pen cut, incut, temperatures, and product recording temperatures—troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating difficulties.
  • Communicates any problems or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production or food safety concerns to management.
  • Follows required safety practices by observing confined space safety guidelines, wearing all required personal protection equipment in designated areas, ensuring safe chemical handling and fall restraints, monitoring sanitation of equipment CIP and hand cleaning, and reporting safety concerns or issues to leadership.
  • Supports Continuous Improvement throughout the plant by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput.
  • Operates and cleans equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime while communicating mechanical and operational issues.
  • Monitors fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopes as they associate with processing dairy products to ensure quality and efficiencies are met.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carries out tasks, and determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 1 year’s experience in a distribution or production environment (e.g., logistics supply chain, dairy plant, food processing, or manufacturing).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Continuous Improvement, Distribution, Food – Dairy Processing, Food – Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Manufacturing, Six Sigma.
