What you’ll do- Control access to the facility by verifying identifications, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Maintain a visible and proactive security presence to deter threats and provide security for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Prioritize tasks and complete assignments using policies and available resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners.
- Communicate progress and relevant information; actively identify improvement opportunities and adapt to feedback and change.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines; use personal protective equipment and operate machinery and equipment safely.
- Report hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately; participate in safety trainings and drills; maintain cleanliness to prevent accidents.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety protocols; conduct regular security checks of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the facility.
- Provide assistance and guidance during emergencies or security concerns, including evacuations and directing individuals to safe areas.
- Maintain accurate security reports, incident logs, and documentation related to security activities.
- Monitor alarm systems, fire systems, and fire suppression equipment for proper operation; conduct security inspections of buildings, grounds, and trailers.
- Monitor inbound and outbound trailers via computer applications; report unusual activity to management.
- Create and issue new and replacement associate and visitor badges; comply with company policies and ethics standards.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; communicate progress and information.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.30 - $22.30. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
