Winsearch UK is proud to partner with a growing contractor specialising in roofing, cladding, and full building envelope solutions across the industrial and commercial sectors. Based out of their Oldham office, this is an opportunity to join a business that has built a solid reputation for delivering high-quality roofing and cladding packages nationwide, covering both new build and refurbishment works.

This is an office‑based Estimator role with some site involvement where required, supporting the commercial team in pricing and securing projects. You'll be involved across the full tender lifecycle, working on a mix of roofing and cladding schemes, and playing a key role in helping the business win work.

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Carrying out material take‑offs and pricing exercises
• Building up detailed and accurate cost estimates
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Supporting project teams at handover stage once work is secured
• Occasionally visiting sites to better understand project scope and delivery

• Experience in estimating within the construction industry
• Ideally some exposure to roofing, cladding, or building envelope works
• Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and external partners
• Confident using Excel and estimating tools

• £38,000-£42,000 salary depending on experience
