Assistant Estimator focuses on assisting with the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of construction and refurbishment projects.
What the role involves- Assisting with the preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of construction and refurbishment projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Producing detailed take-offs, cost plans, and pricing schedules.
- Obtaining and evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions within agreed timescales.
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

- Approximately 3-4 years' estimating experience within the construction industry.
- Previous experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor.
- Strong understanding of estimating principles and construction methods.
