We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our team on a long term basis, to cover a maternity post. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in KS1, with a focus on Year
1. This role requires strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality education to our students.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 1
• Strong classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and assessment strategies
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
• Uphold school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding protocols

• Daily rate from £130 - £200 per day
