Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience and responsibilities) £900 - £1,250 per week

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

A well-resourced and nurturing primary school in Rochdale is seeking a skilled SEN teacher to join their inclusive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment where every child is truly supported to reach their full potential.

Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to pupils primarily across KS1 and KS2

Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones

Work closely with the SENCO, support staff and parents/carers to provide a consistent and holistic approach

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
• A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
• Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child's progress

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references

This is a full-time position starting in January 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate). ECTs and experienced SEN teachers are welcome to apply.
