8.15am – 15.15pm Monday – Friday
Salary: £21,293 - £23,481 per annum (starting scale point is dependent on experience)

As the Isolation Room Coordinator for our Educational client, you will manage the academy’s Isolation Room as a key part of the behaviour management system, helping to reduce repeat isolations and student exclusions.
You will maintain high behaviour expectations and a focused working environment, supporting students’ academic progress and personal development during internal exclusion.
You will be supported by behaviour managers, Heads of Year, and senior leaders, with teamwork playing a vital role in helping you carry out the job effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operation of the Isolation Room, ensuring students are supervised in a safe, calm, and positive environment.
- Support students’ learning and behaviour, providing appropriate work, feedback, and encouragement.
- Communicate with parents / carers and staff about students’ progress and any barriers to learning.
- Implement the Behaviour for Learning Policy and promote strategies for positive behaviour.
- Work closely with pastoral staff, SENDCO, Heads of Year, and external agencies to support students’ needs and relationships.
- Monitor behaviour, address incidents, and maintain accurate records in line with school policy and data protection requirements.
- Contribute to pastoral data analysis, interventions, and improvements to Isolation Room procedures.
- Maintain resources, support school-wide policies, and act as a positive role model for students.
- Undertake relevant training to ensure safeguarding and pastoral care responsibilities are met.

- GCSE Mathematics & English Grade A to C or equivalent.
- Experience of carrying out a role that involved behaviour support, restorative measures and incident de-escalation.
- Experience of using general software systems, which includes Microsoft Word and Excel etc.
- Experience of assisting others with their learning.
- Experience of assisting people in crisis.
- Willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities offered by the Academy and Academy Trust.
