We are seeking an experienced, resilient, and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rochdale on a part-time basis. This role is 2 days per week and will run until the end of the academic year.

You will be supporting a Year 6 class where pupils may present challenging behaviour, so strong behaviour management skills, clear boundaries, and a consistent approach are essential. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, confident, and able to create a positive, structured learning environment that supports pupils both academically and emotionally.

• Qualified teacher with Upper KS2 experience
• Excellent behaviour management skills and resilience
• Ability to build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations
• Confidence in delivering SATs-focused lessons
• Committed, reliable, and motivated to make a real impact

• Work in a supportive and inclusive school community
• Play a key role in preparing pupils for SATs
• Make a genuine difference to pupils' academic and personal development

This role is subject to :

• Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce)
• Satisfactory references
• Full compliance with KCSIE (2024) guidance and safer recruitment standards
• Overseas police checks where applicable
