Cover Supervisor – SEN Secondary School (General Cover)
Location: Rochdale

Are you looking for an exciting and fulfilling new challenge where no two days are the same. Teaching Personnel is seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in a supportive SEN Secondary School in Rochdale. This role involves delivering general cover across a variety of subjects
, ensuring continuity of learning for students. The students you will be supporting have a range of additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Sensory processing difficulties, Speech, Language and Communication needs, challenging behaviour and learning disabilities.
You will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged and supported. The school caters for pupils with a range of SEN, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- HLTA experience
, previous Teaching Assistant roles, or teaching experience
. - Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive, adaptable approach to supporting diverse learners.
- Ability to cover multiple subjects confidently.
- Experience working in schools, ideally with SEN pupils.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
