KS1 Primary Teacher

Location: Heywood

Experienced KS1 Teacher Required - Heywood Area

Pay Rate:
£140-£240 per day (dependent on experience, responsibilities, and length of placement)

Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Demonstrate proven experience teaching across KS1

Possess an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the national curriculum

Experience supporting early reading, writing, and numeracy development

A positive, flexible, and professional approach to working in different school environments

The Role:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stage 1

Plan and implement creative, structured, and engaging lessons

Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs

Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leadership teams

Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures, and best practice at all times
