The Governing Body of Hollin Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self‑motivated teaching assistant.

Teaching Assistant Level 1 – 32½ hours per week. Post supports children as directed, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (including a 30‑minute lunch break).

• Assist with the supervision, personal care, welfare and keeping safe of individuals and/or groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff.
• Support the teacher in planning learning activities for children.
• Support the teacher in the evaluation of learning activities.

Ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
