We are currently recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full‑time, long‑term basis at a welcoming primary school in the Greater Manchester area. This role is for the full academic year and offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 4 within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

The school is a friendly and inclusive primary setting with a strong community ethos. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. High expectations, positive behaviour, and a nurturing learning environment are central to the school’s approach.

• Provide in‑class support for Year 4 pupils
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and progress
• Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions
• Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those requiring additional support
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and assessment support
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other support staff

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
• Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
• Confidence working independently and delivering interventions
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A caring, proactive, and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Full‑time Level 3 Teaching Assistant role for the full academic year
• Pay in line with Level 3 TA scale
• Long‑term stability within a supportive school
• Valuable Key Stage 2 experience
• Friendly and welcoming staff team
