Rate of pay: £115 - £135 (experience depending).

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support pupils in their learning, development and wellbeing.

Depending on the school and setting, your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
  • Assisting with classroom activities and learning programmes.
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND.
  • Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
  • Working alongside teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Providing pastoral and behavioural support where required.
  • Supporting pupils with their academic, emotional and personal development.
  • Helping to prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
  • Contributing to pupils' progress and maintaining appropriate records.
We Are Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils to achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy and a positive approach.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
  • Experience of SEND is particularly welcomed for our specialist roles.
