Are you a recent graduate with experience supporting vulnerable children or adults with complex behavioural or emotional needs?
Perticularly looking to progress into a career in Behavioural Psychology, and want to gain first-hand school based experience supporting KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs?
An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Rochdale area is eager to find a Behaviour Support Mentor able to conduct key 1:1 & small group academic support for students with SEMH needs located outside of the classroom setting.

Behaviour Support Mentor- Role Information
- Supporting KS3 & KS4 students with SEMH needs
- Creating engaging learning experiences across variety of subjects
- Conducting tailored support outside of class setting
- Monitoring progression and combatting weak-points
- Monday to Friday role
- October 2026 to July 2026 - Paid £94 to £100 per day during-term time
- Applicant Requirements
- Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
- Prior experience supporting individuals with SEMH needs
- Resilient, patient and hard-working individual
- Ability to build rapport with challenging students
- Strong communication and organisation skills

- Foward-thinking and inclusive mainstream secondary school
- High perecentage of students with SEMH needs
- Located in the Heywood area of Rochdale
- Supportive and cohesive SEMH support department
