Are you a recent Psychology graduate with previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you looking to take the next step in your career within a specialist SEN school?
Aspire People are currently recruiting Psychology graduates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants across schools in Rochdale, with a range of exciting long-term opportunities available.
We are particularly interested in graduates who have gained SEN experience through university placements, volunteering, internships or previous employment. Your experience could be within either a primary or secondary school setting.
The ideal candidate will have:- A UK degree in Psychology, Educational Psychology or a related subject
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Experience gained through placements, employment, volunteering or internships
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- A DBS on the Update Service
- References covering the last 2 years
- Long-term opportunities within SEN schools across Rochdale
