Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar from a Manufacturing background looking for a technical role working autonomously on cutting edge projects within a market-leading specialist manufacturer who offers the chance to directly impact the ongoing success of the business and continual progression to senior roles?

This market-leading company manufactures and provides a range of specialist industrial equipment to a broad client base across numerous sectors, including hospitals, energy and oil and gas. Due to an ever-increasing workload they are looking for an individual to head up their friendly design team.

In this varied role you will play a key part in design projects, including modelling on Solid Works, creating manufacturing drawings and consulting on project requirements. You will work within a team of 6 engineers as well as liaising with production, clients and members of the senior leadership team.

This specialist role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar looking to join a tight-knit team within a market-leading company who provide the chance to be the go-to specialist on cutting edge projects and to further your career.

• End-to-end project work for specialist industrial design projects
• Carry out 2D & 3D modelling using Solid Works and other design packages
• Work within a team of 6 engineers
• Produce manufacturing drawings
• Liaise with production team, senior leadership and clients

• Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Proficient in Solid Works
• Commutable to Rochdale
