Production Engineer

We have an fantastic opportunity for a talented Production Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business in the heavy engineering industry.

The role supports all areas of production, providing engineering expertise and solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will work across multiple departments and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for an experienced Production or Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in CNC machining, Solid Works, and ERP systems. It suits individuals who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrive in a technical environment that demands cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Day to day tasks will include:

• Create and manage process specifications, routings, BOMs, and costings within the ERP system

• Provide engineering support to production teams, focusing on yield improvement and process optimisation

• Apply CAD skills (Solid Works) for design and technical documentation

• Support CNC operations, including 4- and 5-axis machining and lathe work

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve engineering challenges
