Accounts Assistant

We're recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance  this role, you'll support the day-to-day running of the accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices, payments and employee expenses are processed accurately and on time. You'll also assist with reconciliations, month-end activities, financial reporting and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

* Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
* Reconciling supplier statements and company credit cards
* Managing employee expenses and petty cash
* Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes
* Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements
* Maintaining accurate financial records and finance systems
* Responding to supplier queries and resolving discrepancies

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Payable role
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Experience using finance or accounting systems
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable What's on offer:
