Dietitian / Nutritionist, Health Promotion
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified dietitian, or a dietitian who wishes to gain experience within both the community and inpatient hospital setting to join our team.
You will deliver a clinical service treating nutritional support patients across Heywood Middleton and Rochdale Community, in a variety of settings including community clinics, care homes and patients own homes. You will also provide an in-reach service to patients admitted to the wards at Rochdale Infirmary requiring nutritional support.
We are a small friendly team of Dietitians and assistants and we support flexible working where feasible.
If you are ready for a new challenge, are organised, have excellent community communication skills and use a patient centred approach to your practice then Rochdale community dietitians welcome your application.
Supported by experienced dietitians your caseload will include patients requiring oral nutritional support as well as home enteral tube feeding. You will facilitate group education to patients newly diagnosed with coeliac disease, supporting long term management of their condition.
You will maintain clinical responsibility for your own caseload, working with a supportive assistant practitioner and will contribute to the Nutrition & Dietetic Service as a whole, through participation in service developments including audit, patient experience and resource development.
