Caretaker

Full Time - 7am - 2:45pm Monday to Friday 36.25hrs a week
Long-term Temporary Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Caretaker to join their team, working on blocks of flats in and around Middleton.
Caretaker Role Overview:
- Work in teams of two to maintain cleanliness and safety across multiple housing blocks.
- Carry out minor maintenance and cleaning duties.
- Drive the company vehicle – a full UK driving licence is required.
Caretaker Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Housekeeping:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum stairs, landings, and communal areas.
- Wipe down handrails, banisters, and surfaces.
- Empty bins and replace liners.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and vents.
- Spot clean walls and remove scuff marks.
Maintenance & Upkeep:
- Check and report maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, loose handrails).
- Replace bulbs and carry out minor fixes.
