Dispatch Manager - Malton

Salary: £32,000–£35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5.15pm + 1 in 4 Sundays, 9am–1pm

A growing e-commerce business in Malton is looking for a hands‑on Dispatch Manager to join the team. After recently consolidating their operations under one roof, the focus is on improving efficiency and supporting ongoing growth.

• Manage the dispatch team, including shift planning, training, and performance
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time
• Implement and monitor KPIs (pick accuracy, dispatch lead time, stock accuracy)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in line with H&S regulations
• Develop efficient systems for stock management to reduce errors and shortages
• Liaise with couriers, hauliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse and dispatch functions
• Support and guide a busy warehouse team and bring ideas to improve workflow

• Ideally 4–5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management (manufacturing/distribution background preferred)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Good understanding of stock management systems (ERP/WMS)
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
• Confident under pressure in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Friendly, down‑to‑earth approach and leads by example
