Iron Mountain are looking for a Logistics team leader to join our site in Heywood. The Team Leader, Logistics is responsible for providing line management for a team of drivers and Logistics Specialists to ensure client assets are delivered within their specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role ensures full adherence to all relevant legislation and company standards, manages budget constraints, and reports any variances.

Key

Accountabilities
  • Manage the transportation team on a day-to-day basis at the relevant sites to ensure all service and quality standards are met.

  • Ensure total compliance with all company standards and all legal requirements.

  • Interface with customers regarding day-to-day requirements and provide solutions to any problems when required.

  • Responsible for understanding and implementing the company safety and security policies, processes, and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Sufficient experience within an operational service delivery industry.

  • Demonstrated people management skills and experience.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as the capability to supervise teams.

  • Ability to problem-solve to deliver a solution.

  • Good understanding of routing packages and systems.

  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.

  • Ability to build and develop successful relationships with all key stakeholders.

  • IT Literate

  • Previous experience of tracking packages.

  • Successful execution of divisional strategy.

  • Ability to manage the workflow of data in and out of the transport department.

  • Experience with Change Management.
