TIG Welder

Position: TIG Welder (Permanent)
We’re hiring for a Coded TIG Welder to join a lively engineering and manufacturing workshop based in Rochdale.

If you’re experienced in coded TIG welding this is a secure, permanent opportunity with consistent overtime available.

What’s on offer?

* £19.06 p/h

* Mon – Thu | 7:30am – 4pm

* Fri | 7:30am – 12pm

* Overtime paid at 1.5x (weekdays & Saturdays)

* Overtime paid at 2x on Sundays

* 22 days holiday + bank holidays

* 3% employer pension (matched)

* Permanent position

* Plenty of overtime available

What will you be doing as a TIG Welder?

* TIG welding to a coded standard (approx. 80% of the role)

* MIG welding to a high standard (approx. 20%)

* Welding stainless steel up to 8mm thickness

* Working on pressure vessels, pipework, structural framework and industrial equipment

* Completing butt welds and fillet welds

* Welding in all positions – horizontal, vertical and overhead

* Maintaining high-quality welding standards across fabrication projects

* Working within a busy engineering and manufacturing workshop environment

What will you need?

* Proven experience TIG welding to a coded standard

* Strong MIG welding ability

* Experience welding stainless steel

* Confidence reading engineering drawings

* Ability to weld in multiple positions
