* Up to £40,000

* Monday – Friday | Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)

5S Recruitment is working with a well-established plastic injection moulding manufacture, who are looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter / Moulding Technician to join their technical team.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on injection moulding experience, strong knowledge of tool changes and process optimisation, and the ability to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out tool changes and colour changes on injection moulding machines

* Start up machines and ensure stable moulding processes before handing over to production.

* Support new product sampling and trials.

* Optimise moulding processes to improve cycle times and production efficiency.

* Monitor product quality and carry out process adjustments where required.

* Minimise scrap and maintain consistent moulding performance.

* Maintain high 5S and housekeeping standards within the mould shop.

* Work closely with production and management teams to ensure tool change schedules are met.

* Provide clear and accurate shift handovers.

* Follow all health & safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter, Moulding Technician, or Process Technician.

* Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding machines and tooling changes.

* Experience working within manufacturing or plastics production environments.

* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

* Ideally own transport due to shift pattern and location.
