Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer — £40.8k - £43.8k per annum. Strong team with an excellent company culture. Opportunity to grow and learn. Salary increased after probation. Excellent benefits. Our client is a global leader in industrial packaging and Medical Waste. Based at a busy manufacturing plant near Rochdale, the role provides mechanical and electrical maintenance support to the site in collaboration with Production, Process and Quality.

• Setting standards on machines and training others to set up and make improvements.
• Assisting in the setup of machines after the mould changes.
• Fault diagnosis.
• Excellent communicator. Ability to work well and calmly under pressure. Flexible and approachable. Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ISO
  9001 & ISO
  14001 & ISO
  50001, OEE, 5S, Quality Tools.
• Experience of Krupp Kautex, Krauss Maffei, Negri Bossi, BMB and Battenfeld machines would be a distinct advantage.

• You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience of maintenance engineering or similar role.
• Ideally worked within an Injection or Blow moulding production environment.
• Multi skilled with mechatronic experience.
• PLC and controls knowledge.
• 17th or 18th Edition advantageous but not essential.

Hours of work are days Monday
- Thursday 7:00 - 15:30, Friday 7:00 - 15:00. Every fourth week is late Monday
- Thursday 12:00 - 20:30, Friday 12:00 - 20:00.

There could also be an opportunity to consider candidates who would prefer a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
