Handpack Operative (Days) – Chippenham People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Handpack Operative (Days) to join our well-established client based in Chippenham, Wiltshire on a full-time temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable production operation. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Handpack Operative, Production Operative, Factory Operative, Food Production Operative, Packing Operative, Warehouse Operative, or General Operative.

Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 08:30 – 17:00 Rates of Pay • £12.76 per hour Benefits As a Handpack Operative, you will receive:

• On-site gym Day-to-Day Duties As a Handpack Operative, your duties will include:
• Packing eggs accurately into trays, boxes and retail packaging in line with customer specifications
• Operating packing and grading machinery to ensure eggs are processed efficiently and accurately
• Carrying out manual handling tasks, including loading, unloading and packing products in line with production targets
• Identifying and reporting any defects, faults or issues with products or machinery
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area
• Following all food safety, biosecurity, health and safety, and site procedures
• Supporting line changeovers, cleaning and preparation between production runs
• Accurately completing production and quality records where required
• Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets and KPIs Essential Skills To be successful as a Handpack Operative, you will need:
• Good verbal communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail
• A proactive and reliable approach to work

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience within a production, factory, food manufacturing or warehouse environment would be beneficial Training Provided
