Location:

Halifax, West Yorkshire Job Type: Full-time Reed is recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing company based in Halifax, our client is looking for a sales administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal departments.

Day-to-day of the role:
Manage the busy Sales Email Inbox and answer telephone calls from customers, providing information about products, pricing, delivery times, and orders Maintain and update customer records in Sage and our internal CRM system Process quotations, sales orders, and invoices, including pro forma invoices, and confirm lead times Arrange customer deliveries, including international shipments, and handle the administration of customer paperwork, including customs requirements Manage importing and exporting of goods worldwide Handle credit card payments and perform credit control tasks, including allocating customer receipts and chasing payments Liaise with various departments such as production, spares, support, purchasing, and accounts Assist with internal departments and perform other ad-hoc duties such as greeting visitors Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Order Administration Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous Knowledge of importing and exporting goods (training will be provided if necessary) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Professional and friendly telephone manner General IT competence and experience with Microsoft Office products Knowledge of Sage 200 is advantageous Strong team player who can also work independently Excellent organisation and time management skills Good timekeeping with a flexible and positive approach to work Benefits:
