We are working with a well-established Air Conditioning contractor who are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to support their continued growth.
This is predominantly a new business development role, focused on selling air conditioning service and maintenance contracts alongside installation and refurbishment projects.
The company operates across commercial offices, education, retail and other commercial environments, working directly with end users and building services contractors.
The Role- Generate new business through selling AC service and maintenance contracts alongside new installation and refurbishment projects.
- Develop relationships with commercial end users, facilities managers and M&E contractors to generate new service, maintenance and project opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for smaller AC installation, replacement and refurbishment projects.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Conduct site surveys, understand technical requirements and prepare quotations.
- Experience in AC technical sales, business development or service sales.
- Strong technical understanding of commercial AC systems including splits, multi-splits and VRF/VRV.
- Ideally a background as an Air Conditioning Engineer who has progressed into sales.
- Experience selling service and maintenance contracts or AC projects.
- Knowledge of Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Toshiba equipment.
- £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary.
- Profit-based bonus, typically £10,000 - £15,000 per year.
- £600 per month car allowance plus mileage.
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.
